MUST HAVES: (Very important)
- 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Administrator/Developer experience
with ServiceNow ITSM. ITOM is a plus.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Must have CSA, CAD an Implementation Certification in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified
Implementation Specialist).
- Strong general skillsets across ServiceNow with ITSM, ITOM, Catalog Creation/Support,
SPM, and HR
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for ServiceNow integration
architecture.
- MUST have good communication skills. Easy for their internal customers to
communicate with and the candidate must be able to help the internal customers think
through what they are really asking for. Come up with ServiceNow solutions for
their customer's needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into
effective ServiceNow integration solutions.Proven track record in leading technical
architecture efforts within ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in development tasks, including customization and integration.
- Extensive experience in business analysis and requirement documentation.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of ServiceNow integrations.
- Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and integration specialists.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Experience In Servicenow Developement
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow components (Service Catalog, App
Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Service Portal).
- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM module.
- Implement CMDB/Discovery/Service Mapping/event management solutions.
- Develop and maintain application dependencies, workflows, integrations, and
processes.
- Build, test, and apply enhancements and upgrades within Development, Test,
and Production environments.
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow customizations (core setup,
workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, third-party
software integrations).
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts,
REST APIs, and ACLs.
- Build custom widgets and portals in Service Portal.
- Develop applications on ServiceNow platform and related technologies (App
Creator, Studio, ES5/ECMAScript).
- Work with web application technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST).
Experience In Servicenow Administration
- Maintain and administer ITSM system and ServiceNow platform.
- Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its
applications.
- Manage permissions and access (roles, users, groups).
- Manage 3rd party ServiceNow support roles and responsibilities.
- Provide general support, administration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Coordinate upgrades and changes to the ServiceNow instance.
- Perform platform upgrades and review skipped updates.
- Maintain system documentation, logs, and work instructions.
- Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process
diagrams.
- Develop and administer reporting services and system integrations.
- Generate reports, patch, and monitor ServiceNow instances.
- Create, analyze, and distribute reporting, data, and information regarding
operational performance.
Experience In Servicenow Integration And Automation
- In-depth knowledge and experience with ServiceNow integration capabilities,
including REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Develop systems integrations and process automation.
- Proven experience in leading ServiceNow integration projects.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, capabilities, and best practices
for integration.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Mid Server, Integrations, LDAP, Flow Designer, SSO, APIs.
Leadership And Improvement
- Provide technical and architectural leadership for ServiceNow applications.
- Lead technical design sessions with development teams, ensuring architecture
standards.
- Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery Services processes (CI/CD)
Pipeline
- Research and analyze data to proactively identify improvements or new
requirements for business processes and operational procedures.
