Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, managing infrastructure, and enhancing the development lifecycle. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build and deployment processes.
- Develop and manage configuration management scripts with Ansible to automate system administration tasks and application deployments.
- Write and maintain Unix shell scripts to support automation and system operations.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring efficient resource allocation and usage.
- Implement security best practices in the deployment and configuration of systems and applications.
- Document processes, workflows, and infrastructure changes for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and experience with shell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
