YOUR ROLE
As a DevOps Team Leader, you will manage the deployment, scaling and optimization of our platform's architecture. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud technologies and a proven ability to lead a high-performing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor and grow the DevOps team.
- Develop and execute the DevOps roadmap in line with architectural needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with development, QA and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve system reliability and automate processes.
- Manage and optimize Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) to orchestrate containerized applications.
- Architect, deploy and maintain Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with NAT and Application Load Balancer (ALB) for managing network traffic.
- Ensure secure API management using IAM and integrate Key Management Service (KMS) for encryption.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD for rapid, automated software delivery.
- Implement centralized logging and monitoring solutions with ELK Stack for real-time insights.
- Develop alerting mechanisms using Prometheus and Grafana to proactively identify issues.
- Implement Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and IAM policies to ensure infrastructure security.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8 years of DevOps experience, with at least 2-3 years in a team leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
- Experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, VPC, ALB, IAM, KMS) and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols like SSL/TLS, WAF, 2FA and IAM for secure infrastructure.
- Experience with centralized logging and monitoring using ELK Stack, Prometheus and Grafana.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ).
- Experience in managing and optimizing databases.
