Cloud Engineer
Leidos’ National Security Sector is seeking candidates to support an Intelligence Community client’s move from legacy systems to Next Generation Architecture. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic and Agile team conducting both new development and O&M.
In This Role You Will
- Analyze customer requirements and provide technical expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies,
- Build and design web services in the cloud, along with implementing set-up of geographically redundant services.
- Evaluate cloud strategy and program architecture and select appropriate cloud services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements,
- Develop and maintain high visibility cloud-based IT systems and offer recommendations with respect to cloud migrations, and prepare technical implementation.
This position is contingent upon award, we expect award in November/December 2024.
Required Experience, Skills, And Education
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Experience creating and configuring virtual private clouds (VPCs)
- Experience creating EC2 instances
- Experience with various cloud computing environments, such as Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Desired Experience, Skills, And Education
- Experience with configuring, updating, and maintaining an AWS cloud environment hosted on the client’s network.
- Experience with client’s security requirements and systems.
- Experience with installing and troubleshooting applications in cloud environments

Pay Range
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
