Required Skills
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of VMware virtual infrastructure.
- Write and implement Terraform modules to provision VMware resources such as virtual machines, data stores, and networks.
- Automate the build and deployment of VMware environments, templates, and resources, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Integrate Terraform automation with VMware tools like vSphere, vCenter, and other VMWare related tools for provisioning, performance, capacity, and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Terraform workflows, VMware provisioning, and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and security in virtualized environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to create efficient, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure the security, compliance, and best practices of virtual infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed documentation of Terraform configurations, processes, and system architectures.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to team members on Terraform, VMware provisioning, and automation best practices. Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud setups.
