About The Role
As a Devops Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to design, build, and maintain highly available and resilient systems.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
DevOps Practices: Implement and promote DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
Kubernetes Expertise: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
Incident Response: Handle system failures and outages, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
Capacity Planning: Ensure system resources can handle increased load and scale systems accordingly.
Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track system performance and identify potential issues.
Automation: Build tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
Experience With Terraform Or Other IaC Tools
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Ansible)
Strong Python experience
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Besides the above, they also need to have experience in Docker containerization tools & Yaml as well.
