Vacation
Full-time employees are eligible to earn and accrue vacation upon the first day of work. All full-time employees are eligible to accrue at least 80 hours of paid vacation time annually, and annual vacation time increases based on tenure.
Sick Time
All employees will be granted 5 days (40 hours) of paid sick leave in a lump sum at the time of hire and subsequently, at the beginning of each year on January 1st. Employees may begin to use paid sick leave on their 90th day of employment (or sooner, if applicable law requires). Employees can use up to 5 days (40 hours) of paid sick leave per year.
Holiday Pay
Upon hire, all employees will receive holiday pay for the Company observed holidays, which includes all Federal Holidays and the day after Thanksgiving.
Medical Insurance Benefits
Opeeka provides the option of a comprehensive medical insurance plan for eligible full-time employees and their dependents. Employees are eligible to enroll in the medical program on the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment. The Company will pay a portion of the medical insurance premium, up to $550 per employee and up to $450 for covered dependent(s). Medical insurance benefits are available to employees, the employee’s spouse or registered domestic partner, and the employee’s legal dependents.
Dental And Vision Benefits
Eligible full-time employees may also enroll in an employee only, an employee plus children or a family contract on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. For eligible full-time employees, the Company will contribute 100% of the Dental plan cost for the Employee. Employee is responsible for 100% of the cost for covered dependent(s). Employees are responsible for 100% of the cost of Vision coverage.
Retirement Plan
The Company provides eligible full-time employees with a Safe Harbor 401k plan. The Company will match an employee’s elective contributions on a dollar-for-dollar basis, up to 4% of your annual compensation. Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in the 401K plan following 90 days of continuous employment.
Job Summary
As the Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will own our cloud infrastructure, which is built in, but not limited to, Microsoft Azure, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our environments. You will take ownership of setting up and maintaining new environments, deploying application code, and closely monitoring the infrastructure. In this position, you will work cross-functionally with our engineering, QA, Customer Service and security teams to continuously improve and streamline our CI/CD pipelines, containerization strategies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes), and cloud governance practices. You will develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap to scale and maintain the infrastructure as our product and client base grows, anticipating and addressing future requirements.
This position is NOT eligible for 100% remote work and requires working in office at least 2-3 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Ownership: Own and manage our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Ensure that the cloud environments comply with industry-standard security practices—including encryption, identity and access management, and monitoring—to meet regulatory requirements like SOC 2 and GDPR.
- Set up, configure, and maintain new and existing environments using infrastructure as code and manual configuration.
- Ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
- Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps for source control (Git), build and release pipelines.
- Deploy application code using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Edit and configure Yaml.
- Streamline deployment processes and minimize downtime.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security using appropriate tools.
- Build and maintain dashboards that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure real-time visibility into system performance, uptime, and compliance metrics.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Perform advanced system administration tasks within the Azure Portal.
- Manage Azure resources like app services, Kubernetes services, virtual machines, networking, and storage.
- Ensure infrastructure changes are version-controlled and auditable.
- Interface with offshore teams, providing guidance and support.
- Define and implement long-term DevOps and infrastructure roadmaps.
- Drive initiatives for automation, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Architect and document new infrastructure, ensuring that it is highly scalable and resilient.
Financial Responsibilities
- Track and manage Azure cloud costs across multiple environments.
- Monitor and analyze cost trends for all Azure services, ensuring efficient usage of resources and cost optimization.
- Provide regular reports on Azure spending, including cost allocation and forecasting.
- Collaborate with finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and cost allocation, helping to reduce unnecessary expenses.
- Implement and maintain cost management tools to proactively track and optimize cloud spend as new instances and services are deployed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversee and delegate tasks to offshore team members, ensuring work is completed efficiently and within project timelines.

Education And/or Experience
- BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or related experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with other cloud providers like AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- 5+ years using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- 5+ years of experience managing .NET services on Kubernetes
