Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Location: Beaverton Oregon 97005 (Onsite Role)
Duration: 12+ months contract (Extension possible)
Client: Apparel /Retail Industry (Fortune 500 Companies)
Job Description:
- We’re looking for a seasoned engineer with the skills to automate repeatable processes, develop integrated solutions, and help deliver a seamless data and reporting platform.
- The candidate will have demonstrable experience coding and scripting using Python. Understand serverless architectures and continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD), plus GraphQL and RESTful API development. Understand infrastructure-as-code technologies (CloudFormation), source code management (GitHub) as it relates to the developer experience. Data skills (MySQL, SQL, queries, data analysis) are also required.
- Our preferred candidate is a team-player and a self-starter with a passion for learning and growing. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate with a highly technical audience are desired qualifications.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training, and experience.
- 3+ years of development experience using AWS.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Comfortable working in Mac and Linux environments.
- Proficient in programming using Python and Shell Scripting.
- Experience in designing and consuming Rest and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience in containerization using Docker.
