Title: SrCloud Security Engineer
Location: Wichita, KS
Duration: PERMANENT
Salary: 120k - $135k
Interview process: 2 rounds (2 panel interviews with different stakeholders, 1 hour each )
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience as a cloud engineer
- Strong AWS IAM Management
- Terraform - infrastructure as code management
- Python - scripting, solutioning, to add capabilities to the cloud infrastructure and security services
- Lambda Development for Cloud Infrastructure
- Github or GitLab Actions - familiarity with CI/CD processes to help support IaC and deployment of standard solutions.
- AWS serverless stack, AWS Organizations/Control Tower
- Cloud Security experience (detection and response, configuration monitoring, penetration testing, IaC scanning, vulnerability management)
- Knowledge of zero trust principles
- Experience with AWS Account Factory, AWS Identiy Center, Cloud Disaster recovery and business continuity, Cloud Security posture Management Tools and Processes, and CIEM
- Strong communicator and independent thinker
Plusses:
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate
- Azure Experience
Day to day:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join one of our clients in the Wichita area. This person will be responsible for Cloud Security Operations and Cloud Financial operations on a day to day basis. This includes the engineering and building of different solutions and potentially designing different solutions for our customers as well as utilizing Web Application Firewall Services, Cloud Misconfiguration Monitoring and Response, AWS remote Access Services, as well as Rightsizing and Anomaly Detection Services. This is predominately an AWS environment and in order to be successful in this role, candidates will come with proven cloud engineering experience in a previous position. This is a fast paced environment, and will be local to Wichita, KS.
