What's the scope of this role?
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure for large programs with cloud solutions
- CI/CD/CT pipelines setup and maintenance
- Environment management using Kubernetes and public cloud platforms
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues
- Taking part in DevOps EcoSystem evolution
- Mentoring and guiding the team members
What skills and experience will you need for this role?
- Excellent teamworking and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Awareness of DevOps principles.
Skills:
- Good experience of Linux-based operating systems
- Hands-on experiences working on Docker, K8s
- Experience in creating / supporting, modifying pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Gitops, )
- Knowledge of source control and build automation tools (git, gitlab/github, maven)
- Experience in solution/application deployment and troubleshooting
- Experience with REST APIs in a microservices architecture
- Experience with scripting and programming, such as Python, Groovy or Bash
- Experience in Ansible, Helm
- Should have experience in Artifactory, Nexus
- Experience in SQL and non-SQL databases
- Should have good experience in Vault
- Understanding and experience with XML, JSON and YAML formats
Good to have skills:
- Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch installation and administration
- Knowledge on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure
- Basic knowledge of Golang, Go build, NPM build
- Consul Zookeeper,
- Argo CD, Flux CD
