Role Overview:
We are looking for a Cloud Architect experienced in big data technologies, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps principles to lead the transformation of our low-code/no-code big data platform into a scalable and secure cloud-ready solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Strategy & Architecture:
- Design scalable, secure, and cloud-ready architecture aligned with business goals.
- Provide guidance on cloud technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration with on-premise environments.
- Integration & Security:
- Implement robust integration with Active Directory (AD), SSO, and authentication systems.
- Promote unified security and identity management practices.
- DevOps & CI/CD:
- Architect CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and updates.
- Define release management strategies for reliability and minimal downtime.
- Monitoring & Performance:
- Develop observability strategies (monitoring, logging, analytics).
- Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and performance adherence.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Guide teams on cloud-native and DevOps practices.
- Mentor teams on modern methodologies and tools.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in big data technologies: Hive, Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, Iceberg, NiFi, Hudi.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of security practices (AD, SSO, zero trust).
- Observability and non-functional requirements expertise (scalability, performance).
