Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
AWS DevOps Lead to drive the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure solutions. As a key member of the DevOps team, you will lead efforts to automate workflows, optimize cloud resources, and ensure the reliability of our applications. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design & Management:
- Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Design scalable and fault-tolerant systems to meet business requirements.
Automation & CI/CD Pipelines
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate deployment processes to ensure faster and reliable delivery.
Monitoring & Optimization
- Implement monitoring solutions for system performance and uptime using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure security best practices for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and implement security controls.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Incident Management:
- Own the resolution of critical incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop runbooks and response plans for operational issues.
Technical Expertise
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
DevOps Tools
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Security
- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, VPC, and network security best practices.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like ELK Stack or Splunk.
