As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will oversee the deployment of product updates, streamline operations, and enhance our infrastructure, ensuring robustness and high availability to meet the needs of our dynamic customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure, optimizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to support efficient testing and deployment cycles, collaborating with development teams to ensure system reliability.
- Manage and scale applications using Docker and Kubernetes, overseeing cloud environments across platforms like AWS and GCP to enhance performance and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and manage monitoring systems using tools such as Datadog and Prometheus to ensure proactive issue detection and system integrity.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers, leading by example to foster knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, and a deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for effective containerization and orchestration.
- Proficient in scripting and automation with languages such as Python and Bash, and skilled in using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Knowledgeable in configuration management with tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and experienced in version control with Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a collaborative spirit and effective communication abilities, are essential for leading projects and interfacing with cross-functional teams.
