Summary:
As a DevOps Architect, you will assess, design, and engineer DevOps solutions in complex technology environments. You will design and build DevOps technical solutions for cloud-native, cloud-enabled, and on-prem infrastructure with microservices or traditional application patterns. Your typical day will involve analyzing technology environments, identifying areas for improvement, and designing and implementing DevOps solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Design and implement DevOps solutions for cloud-native, cloud-enabled, and on-prem infrastructure.
- Assess technology environments and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define DevOps strategies.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met in DevOps processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud DevOps Services.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Platform Architecture, DevOps, Infrastructure As Code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex technology environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Google Cloud DevOps Services.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
