Role Overview:
As a Databricks/Azure Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure data platforms using Azure and Databricks. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, define technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure data solutions, including Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
- Build data pipelines, optimize performance, and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and data professionals.
- Oversee deployment and integration of cloud data solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud data architecture and engineering.
- Expertise in Azure services (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
- Solid experience with data modeling, ETL, and cloud data integration.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with clients.
- Azure Solutions Architect or Databricks Certification.
- Experience with ML/AI in cloud environments.
