WHAT WE'LL NEED
Wingstop is looking for a DevOps Engineer joining our Digital/eCommerce team developing and supporting our proprietary eCommerce platform. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will develop a complete understanding of our Digital/eCommerce platform and play a key role in enhancing and supporting our stack. You will be part of a team responsible for all the organization’s code and production deployment pipelines, infrastructure, security, network and development environments.
Additionally, you'll:
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, test, and release of frontend and backend applications.
- Collaborate Test teams to streamline release management, and integrated testing between environments using AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Design and help operate a highly secure and stable cloud environments.
- Drive the operational requirements and procedures and take ownership of reliability engineering; ensure the proper tooling is in place for monitoring and maintaining continuous uptime
- Assist in the development and management of central DevOps services such as Artifactory, an internal GitHub Actions marketplace, security scanners, and other custom tooling
- Work cross-functionally with other teams InfoSec and IT
- Help build the technical and cultural groundwork for a DevOps organization
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in DevOps and automation role.
- Experience in Retail/eCommerce is highly preferred.
- Solid experience with AWS, AWS certification is highly preferred.
- Solid experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer)
- Extensive experience in APM tools like AppDynamics, DataDog, Grafana, setting up SRE activities.
- Experience with API GW like APIgee, AWS GW, managing API security and policies
- Strong experience using toolchains, supporting, and developing with the following applications: Jira, GitLab/Bitbucket, Confluence
- Deep familiarity with hosting technologies Kubernetes, EC2, ECS, Lambda
- Experience in SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres) and NOSQL like MongoDB, Cassandra or Apache Ignite.
- Expert level understanding and implementation of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman.
- Good understanding of Jenkins, Gitlab, SonarQube, Atlassian developer tools
- Experience in software development (e.g., Java/Java script, C#, etc.)
- Transform strategic objectives into actionable programs of work, leading to the execution of effective and successful outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
