What is in it for you?
As a
Senior Software Engineer – Application Support, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage end customer communication.
- Provide solutions based on standard SOPs.
- Responsible for day-to-day support of application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues, resolution, and escalation.
- Provide support to client in shifts.
- Initially it will be US working hours across the US Time-zones & then in 24/ 7.
- Should be able to set processes and ensure they are followed in a timely manner.
- Analyze, diagnose root causes, known errors and resolve challenging issues relating to software applications, Windows OS, SQL Server databases and other related technologies.
- Log and document incidents within a ticketing system (Auto-generated tickets).
- Refer incidents to senior team when an incident is beyond the scope.
- Ensure SLAs are met and delivered according to Support specification.
- Participate in sharing knowledge and publishing Knowledge articles.
Experience
Location:
Educational Qualifications
- Engineering Degree
- Technical certifications in multiple technologies are desirable.
- ITIL Certification preferred
Skills: -
Mandatory Technical Skills: -
- Experienced in Application Support and Maintenance
- Well-versed in L1-L2 support process (Healthcare Domain)
- Basic understanding of application troubleshooting and ability to independently manage set SOPs
- Expertise in application troubleshooting and know how applications communicate over networks, including the roles of ports and various communication protocols
- Good command in Linux and SQL
- Must have ITIL knowledge
- Familiar with working on ITSM Ticketing tools
- Good understanding of DICOM, HL7 interoperability and PACS workflows
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Good to Have Skills: -
- Knowledge of Cloud (networking and security configurations)
