About The Job
As an
Agile Team Coach for our
IoT Marine delivery team, part of the global
Automation Development team, you will ensure Agile methodologies are effectively applied, guiding teams in Agile values, principles, and best practices.
The Scrum Team:
Therefore, as an Agile Team coach you will serve:
- Coach on self-management, cross-functionality, and value-driven delivery.
- Facilitate Scrum events, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Remove impediments and promote full transparency in processes and challenges.
- Define and track key metrics for continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of value delivery, feedback, and team celebration.
The Product Owner
- Mentor Product Owners to enhance their Agile mindset and leadership.
- Guide in Product Goal definition, backlog management, and empirical planning.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and promote clear backlog prioritization.
The organization, together with the rest of the agile (team) coaches in Automation Development:
- Leading, training, and coaching the closest organization to your team(s), in its Scrum adoption and other agile methodologies;
- Supporting agile ways of working implementations within the organization;
- Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work;
- Removing barriers between stakeholders and your Team(s).
- Support, promote, coach, mentor and teach people in your closest organization, to understand the benefits and adopt an Agile Mindset and behaviour.
- Be an active member of AD’s Agile (team) coach Community.
- Promoting and supporting the implementation of continuous learning organization.
What Is Needed To Succeed
- 4+ years of experience particularly as a scrum master, with proven capabilities in Lean-Agile leadership, behaviours, and mindset
- Deep understanding of Scrum principles, values, and practices.
- Knowledge of other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, XP).
- Ability to implement and tailor Agile frameworks to the team and organization.
- Expertise in tools like DevOps is must for managing backlogs, sprints, and workflows.
- Proficiency in creating and managing burndown charts, velocity charts, and other Agile metrics.
- Ability to track and report Agile metrics like cycle time, lead time, and team velocity.
- Experience analyzing data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles
- Experience and knowledge of resolving cross team dependencies
- Knowledge of APIs, databases, and development frameworks helps in effective communication with technical teams.
- Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Experienced in working with remote teams
- Good understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Can effectively facilitate difficult discussions within teams and with diverse senior stakeholders
- Highly motivated and self-starting with a personal drive for continuous development
