We are looking for a Principal IT Engineer – Applications to join our team and play a key role in integrating security into DevOps practices, designing secure cloud environments, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. You will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance security, automation, and compliance across the enterprise.
What You’ll Do:
✔️ Design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure.
✔️ Develop and implement automated security tools to detect and prevent vulnerabilities in a continuous delivery pipeline.
✔️ Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and compliance audits to ensure best practices.
✔️ Manage the full lifecycle of services, from inception to operational security.
✔️ Prepare and document standard operating procedures and security protocols.
✔️ Lead incident response and collaborate with teams to mitigate security risks.
✔️ Conduct security training to enhance awareness and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on security and cloud-based architecture.
🔹 3+ years in a DevSecOps role, integrating security into DevOps practices.
🔹 Expertise in automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
🔹 Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash.
🔹 Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
🔹 Strong knowledge of security practices, including encryption, certificates, compliance, and vulnerability management.
🔹 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
✅ Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
✅ Prior experience managing large-scale cloud environments.
✅ Experience in developing training materials and conducting security awareness programs.
✅ Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
