POSITION SUMMARY AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary :
The infrastructure Lead with 8-12 years of experience will be responsible for design, implementation and management of both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex IT infrastructure projects and a passion for leveraging new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.

- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
- Define/drive deployment strategy covering choice of cloud and compliance requirement.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to understand requirements and translate into technical solutions.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Identify the requirements, deployment and maintenance of servers, storage, and network systems.
- Strong networking fundamentals like OSI stacks, protocols (https, ftp etc)
- Create and maintain infrastructure related documentation and procedures.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and integrate them into infrastructure strategy.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure related issues.
- Learn, acquire, and get certified on new technologies as demanded by project
- Experience in managing infrastructure required for AI and ML models.

Required Skills
- 8-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong focus on both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipeline for software applications and AI/ML models.
- Proficiency in managing and configuring on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage and networks.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure management like CPU, GPU etc. for AI/ML models.
- Experience with automation and configurating management tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Puppet etc.)
- Well-versed in Devops (e.g. Azure DevOps) and cloud PaaS.
- Cloud-based (AWS/Azure) deployment of models, performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Docker and Git
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
