Job summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Intern to join our dynamic AI engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments. You will work closely with the engineering team to develop automation, optimize system performance, and implement best practices for scaling and managing cloud infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles, hands-on experience with AWS, and a process-oriented mindset to ensure efficient and secure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
- Manage, monitor, and optimize AWS cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to troubleshoot deployment issues
- Participate in containerization and orchestration tasks using Docker
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks
- Document processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and team alignment
- Monitor system health and assist with troubleshooting issues in staging and production environments
- Apply and maintain security best practices, scalability solutions, and cost optimization strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and administration
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with AWS services including:
- EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch
- EBS, VPC, ClientVPN, ECR
- Load balancers, Auto Scaling
- Route 53, Lambda, EventBridge
- SNS, IAM, WAF, NACL
- Working knowledge of security groups and networking concepts (subnets, routing, gateways, VPN)
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Strong understanding of Docker and container management
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (LGTM Grafana stack)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification
- Understanding of Security & Compliance principles
