Job Description
OS Management Hub is a relatively newly released service that handles patching for customers worldwide, operating across both OCI and on-premise systems. Our team incorporates members from around the world and we are seeking a reliable, creative DevOps Engineer to join our team in India. As a DevOps Engineer in our team, you will play an important part in ensuring that our systems run efficiently, processes are improved, and we consistently deliver value to our clients.
What You Have
- BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of software engineering and proven results in designing, implementing and maintaining complex systems and services
- Experience in building tools and automation using Python
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with several of the following technologies/areas: Helm, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, CI/CD, Kubernetes
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
- Familiarity with DevOps practices

Responsibilities
- Collaborate seamlessly with multi-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of DevOps principles and automation
- Develop scripts, tools, and apps for automating deployment processes including provisioning, monitoring, and upgrades
- Work closely with the Development team to ensure their needs are being met and that processes exist to support development processes
- Contribute to documentation of automation, scripts, and processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, methodologies, and emerging technologies related to automation and DevOps
- Adhere to SDLC standard methodologies, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate on roadmap items by identifying areas that need improvement
- Work with multiple teams, actively participating in discussions and improvement plans
