We are open to a DevOps Engineer role with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate we are looking for should have a good knowledge in how deployments work for web applications, and good understanding in github / gitlab actions and passionate over how things can be automated for repeated tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining continuous deployments and support handling Cloud Instances.
You will be working closely with every layer of company from development, quality control and operations, to support and enhance the team efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deployment and Maintenance of different environments like development and staging.
- Securely maintaining credentials for different environments.
- Collaborate with different teams for support and debugging.
- Maintaining Cloud Instances.
- Version Control Management – Work with Git and branching strategies for maintaining code integrity.
- Implement automated backups and ensure disaster recovery plans.
- Deploy and manage Docker containers.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing – Maintain up-to-date documentation for troubleshooting and onboarding new team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering.
- Hands-on experience with any of the Cloud Platforms.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Understanding of Web Application Workflow.
- Experience with monitoring and logging.
- Understanding of Git and version control best practices.
- Basic knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to microservices architecture and deployment strategies.
- Experience with database management (Postgresql, Mysql, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with different Operating Systems, (Ubuntu, Windows)
- Understanding Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
