Job Description:
A DevOps engineer manages the deployment and release of software, and works to improve the software development process. They use automation and collaboration to ensure that software is delivered quickly, reliably, and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Design and maintain automated deployment systems.
- Recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Support development and maintenance of CI/CD processes for application deployments.
- Manage, monitor, and optimise automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
Qualifications:
- Minimally 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of infrastructure as a form (ie: terraform)
- Writing queries in Grafana or Prometheus
- Splunk
