Job Overview:
Seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for LPL’s Infrastructure Solutions Engineering organization. This Engineer will possess technical expertise and engineering skill which allows her/him to be grow into a leading subject matter expert for both Investor and Advisor themed technology as well as enabling Cloud based solutions. This individual must be able to work in a fast paced, start up like environment, assist to identify requirements and facilitate implementation, while following appropriate change control and release processes.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on, white glove customer service experience supporting Development and QA environments.
- Facilitate the implementation of current and future LPL products specifically, in the form of Service Requests, Build Requests, and Change Request Tasks and Incident response.
- Collaborate with Project Managers around project tasks
- Assists with coordinating changes across multiple systems
- Follow and contribute to policies, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with peer teams and assist with streamline Solution Orchestration and Configuration
- Recommends changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of engineering process documentation standards/templates.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of cloud computing experience
- 2-5 Years’ Experience Managing MS Windows and/or Linux Enterprise Level Environments
- 1-3 Years’ Experience with Scripting (Python, PowerShell, JSON, YAML, etc. )
- 1-3 Years’ Experience with Configuration/Orchestration Management (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Preferences:
- Technical Project Management experience is a plus
Pay Range:
$106,800-$178,000/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
