Job Description
Infosys is seeking a
DevOps consultant with Kubernetes and AWS experience. The position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions for the Retail platform related applications from customer's requirements. The selected candidate be able to spin up infrastructure using Cloud technologies and troubleshoot the issues on the servers during installation. They should be able to write Python scripts to automate any manual steps. They should interact with client managers and business SMEs to understand and analyze various requirements that will come up during the introduction of new products. They should derive automation opportunities and make recommendations from the design discussions .
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area prior to Onboarding. This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

- At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of professional experience within Development and Production of Kubernetes and AWS
- Good knowledge of Python programming language Experience managing app deployments for critical P0 systems
- Experience with ACL creation
- Experience with SSL Certificate Management
- Experience in AWS management and app deployments
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with application development and support
- Experience with deployment pipelines
- Experience in Google Cloud if any
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
- Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
This job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
