Overview
We are urgently seeking a
GCP Cloud/Site Reliability Engineer to support TiC MRF. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multi-vendor teams and CVS to build scalable, fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
Position
GCP Cloud/Site Reliability Engineer
Responsibilities
- Provision and validate GCP cloud resources (Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, DataProc, Cloud Composer).
- Configure IAM with least privilege access and enable logging/monitoring for CVS-approved tools.
- Manage NSG, firewall changes, load balancing, security groups, API gateways, and Splunk monitoring.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure cloud security compliance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for Java, Angular, and data technologies using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
- Ensure adherence to CVS security and build standards (SonarQ, Checkmarx, etc.).
- Optimize BigQuery, Postgres DB, and other GCP services for capacity planning and performance monitoring.
- Document cloud components, NSG rules, firewall settings, AD groups, and integration points.
- Develop dashboards for monitoring file generation, API performance, and web applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with GCP Cloud Services (BigQuery, DataProc, Cloud Composer, IAM, NSG, Firewall).
- Expertise in DevOps & CI/CD tools (GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, SonarQ, Checkmarx).
- Strong knowledge of Monitoring & Security tools (Splunk, API Gateways, IAM, Security Groups).
- Programming experience with Java 17, Gradle, API & UX Implementation.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure security and troubleshooting.
Additional Information:
- Urgent requirement for on-site presence at TiC MRF
- Preference for candidates in Dallas, TX, but remote candidates will be considered
- Must comply with CVS infrastructure and security standards
