About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Atlassian Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize solutions across the Atlassian product suite. As a key contributor, you will work closely with stakeholders to align business needs with scalable and efficient Atlassian tools, driving collaboration, productivity, and project management excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture:
- Architect and design solutions leveraging the Atlassian suite (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) tailored to business requirements.
- Develop scalable Atlassian workflows, configurations, and integrations to support enterprise needs.
- Implementation & Customization:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Atlassian tools for new deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
- Customize workflows, schemes, and permissions to align with organizational processes.
- Configure and optimize advanced Jira features like automation, custom fields, and portfolio management.
- Integration & Automation:
- Integrate Atlassian tools with third-party applications (e.g., CI/CD tools, ITSM platforms, CRM systems).
- Build and implement automation solutions using Atlassian Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, and APIs.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements and ensure seamless adoption of Atlassian tools.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and demonstrations to drive user enablement and platform understanding.
- Performance Optimization:
- Monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance and scalability of Atlassian systems.
- Maintain system health, ensure security compliance, and implement governance best practices.
- Leadership & Best Practices:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Atlassian products, advising on tool usage, best practices, and roadmap planning.
- Stay updated on Atlassian product updates and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Partner with support teams to ensure smooth incident resolution and change management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian tools.
- Proficiency in Atlassian administration, workflow customization, and automation tools like ScriptRunner and Automation for Jira.
- Experience with API integrations, REST APIs, and custom plugin development.
- Knowledge of infrastructure management and Atlassian tools in cloud, data center, and server environments.
- DevOps & ITSM Knowledge:
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools
- Understanding of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and service delivery best practices.
- Analytical & Leadership Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for solution design and issue resolution.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, manage stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications, e.g., ACP-120 (Jira Admin for Cloud), ACP-100 (Jira Admin for Data Center/Server).
Desired Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Atlassian tools.
- Experience with large-scale Atlassian deployments, migrations, or upgrades.
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
