Who We're Looking For
Toyota is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Cloud Engineers to join our team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acts as a strategic business partner to managers, leading mid-size projects from development through implementation with measurable impacts on company progress.
- Supports management with value-added research, analysis, and advice, making contributions to solve intermediate to complex business problems.
- Takes a "seasoned functional" approach to identifying opportunities and creating solutions.
- Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) in a specific technology area within cross-functional, enterprise-wide projects.
- Collaborates with other technical architects to ensure scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems embedded across scrum teams.
- Drives the enterprise architecture strategy to align with business goals, ensuring technology supports rapid market expansion and agile practices.
- Ensures best practices for architecture governance and alignment with DevOps for fast, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions.
- Leadership & Development:
- Promotes a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Performs other duties as required to support organizational goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience managing medium-scale complex software development projects with a deep understanding of secure development practices.
- Technical Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of SDLC, security testing methodologies, risk management, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with DevOps practices and large-scale enterprise systems.
- Subject matter expert in a specific discipline, providing seasoned functional knowledge and expertise.
- Demonstrated experience delivering advanced analytical, interpretative, and consultative services on mid to large-scale projects.
- Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to lead in complex matrixed environments
