We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and processes that enable our development teams to build, test, and deploy high-quality web applications rapidly and reliably. If you have extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and building automated CI/CD pipelines, this role is perfect for you.
Infrastructure & Deployment:
- Design, build, and maintain containerized infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (on-premises or cloud-based) to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or other automation servers).
- Implement automated build, test, and deployment processes for web applications across multiple environments.
- Monitor and optimize the pipeline to reduce lead times and improve developer productivity.
Collaboration & Best Practices:
- Partner closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless application delivery and reliability.
- Implement and advocate DevOps best practices, such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
- Document and share knowledge of DevOps practices, tooling, and infrastructure configuration
Monitoring & Performance Tuning:
- Set up and configure observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to monitor application performance and logs.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the application and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular system audits and implement improvements to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability.
Security & Compliance:
- Integrate security scanning and vulnerability assessment into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Implement best security practices for containerized environments (image scanning, secrets management, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps/Infrastructure role with web application projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization; solid understanding of Dockerfiles, containers, and images.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including cluster setup, scaling, and maintenance.
- Strong skills in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or a comparable automation platform).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services (e.g., EC2, EKS, AKS, GKE, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk, etc.).
- Fundamental understanding of networking, security (firewalls, VPNs, etc.), and Linux/Unix administration.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A team-first mentality, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
