As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Collaborating with development teams to automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software delivery workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance and availability in the AWS environment.
- Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance requirements are met in the cloud infrastructure.
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Continuously improving existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. **Mandatory Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and architecture.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). **Preferred Skills or Education Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
