We are looking for a Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer in Singapore for one of our banking clients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, design, and implement cloud solutions with product owners and ITGP architects.
- Develop and document proof of concepts for cloud services and architectures.
- Facilitate cloud adoption by coordinating with Technical Architects, ToolChain, and Infrastructure teams.
- Ensure cloud designs align with architecture roadmaps, standards, and production stability.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation.
- Contribute to architecture framework development and impact analysis for business needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototypes for new IT solutions.
- Draft and update operational procedures and guidelines.
- Analyze technology environments, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Total of 7+ years of IT experience
- Hands on experience in architecting and deploying solutions on IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS or GCP
- Experience building & deploying highly available and low latency systems as service-oriented architecture, event driven architecture using Spring Boot, Python, Redis and Kafka
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration solutions (eg. Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Helm
- Understanding and using Continuous Integration (CI/CD) systems (eg. Jenkins, Gitlab CI, ArgoCD) and networking concepts
- Experience in managing high availability (eg. Keepalived, ALB, Elastic IP, DNS Load Balancer)
