In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Cloud Developer, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
- Python, Bash, and Terraform.
- Anaconda for development purposes.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with software such as source control (Git/GitHub), continuous build/delivery (Jenkins), issue management (Jira), and documentation/collaboration (Confluence).
- Automated testing and deployment of infrastructure or configurations.
- Administration, provisioning, and use of cloud technologies (i.e. AWS) particularly with application of data science approaches in the cloud.
- Deploying and tuning Apache NiFi or other ETL workflows.
- Hosting and managing Structured Query Language (SQL) databases within cloud based relational databases.
- Optimizing connectivity between cloud-based services and on prem high performance cloud compute servers.
- DevSecOps solutions and tools.
- Cyber security domain to include: governance and risk management, compliance, encryption, software development security, access control, network security or secure architecture, or security operations.
- Preparing presentations and presenting to senior stakeholders.
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
- Supporting data scientists to create—through fine tuning, transfer learning—models for classification, prediction, generative AI, or other similar tasks.
- Optimizing the deployment of AI models in the cloud.
- Front-end web development frameworks such as Flask.
- Using Tableau to connect cloud servers to Tableau output visualizations.
SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position with consultants expected to be available and working onsite during core hours.
