Team Lead – System Design, Full Stack & DevOps
Location: Gurgaon (Full-time, on-site)
Experience: 5–8 years in software development and engineering leadership

We’re hiring a hands-on engineering lead to take ownership of system design, full-stack development, DevOps, and team mentorship at Zekardo. The ideal candidate is technically sharp, thoughtful in decision-making, and committed to building scalable systems and high-performing teams over time.
This is a full-time role based in our Gurgaon office, working directly with the founding team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
System Architecture & Engineering Ownership
- Design scalable and maintainable architectures across backend, frontend, and mobile platforms
- Lead implementation across services and ensure system resilience, security, and performance
- Take full accountability for technical delivery and infrastructure uptime
Full-Stack & Cloud Development
- Backend: Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
- Frontend: Next.js with TypeScript and Redux
- Mobile: Flutter (Android & iOS)
- Databases: PostgreSQL / MySQL
- DevOps: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
Technical Leadership & Team Growth
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and thoughtful feedback
- Build a culture of ownership, clarity, and consistent delivery
- Set engineering standards and lead by example
Agile Execution
- Drive sprint planning, technical prioritization, and release cadence
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to translate business needs into software
- Balance speed of delivery with technical debt management and long-term stability
Who We’re Looking For
- 5–6 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years leading or mentoring developers
- Proven expertise in Python backend frameworks and modern frontend development
- Strong understanding of system design, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions, and communicate clearly
- Someone who values long-term ownership over short-term rewards
