Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team, ensuring clear communication, structured execution, and alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with Application Development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to drive automation across infrastructure, applications, and databases (RDBMS and NoSQL).
- Define, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for all services, ensuring efficient, scalable, and cost-effective deployments across business units (Auto, Health, Partnerships, Electronics, etc.).
- Establish best practices for infrastructure architecture, leveraging open-source and commercial tools for scalability, security, and cost optimization.
- Develop automated deployment frameworks across all SDLC environments, ensuring reliability, rollback mechanisms, and adherence to security standards.
- Build and manage service discovery, service mesh models, monitoring frameworks, and logging systems for infrastructure, applications, and databases.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment and infrastructure issues, demonstrating adversity management and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, performance standards, and scalable, repeatable DevOps processes.
- Drive a mission-oriented approach, instilling a growth mindset within the team, fostering innovation, and encouraging ownership.
- Act as a stakeholder manager, ensuring seamless communication with engineering,
Skill Set required:
- People Management experience, with a strong ability to lead and develop high-performing DevOps teams.
Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, etc.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc., with a focus on automation and reliability.
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Fabric, Puppet, or SaltStack.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Spinnaker, or Nomad.
- Proven ability to manage 24x7 production environments, ensuring high availability, resilience, and security compliance.
- Strong communication management skills—able to clearly articulate technical strategies to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Experience in designing and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks across infra, applications, databases, and NoSQL systems.
- Hands-on expertise in containers and microservices architecture, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of system administration (Linux/Unix) and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
- A logical, rational, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage ambiguity and adversity effectively.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to work closely with engineering, business, and operations teams to drive efficiency and innovation.

Experience & Educational Requirement
- 8 - 14 years of experience in DevOps engineering, preferably in an online technology company with high-scale operations.
