We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps solutions across diverse enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, hands-on execution capability, and strategic thinking to drive DevOps transformation, streamline delivery pipelines, and ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability. You will work across bespoke applications as well as platforms like Salesforce and SAP.
About the Role
The DevOps Architect will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of DevOps solutions, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization while optimizing performance and security.
Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient DevOps architectures tailored to organizational needs across custom and enterprise platforms.
- Conduct DevOps maturity assessments and define strategic roadmaps to advance DevOps capabilities.
- Rationalize DevOps toolsets and standardize architecture patterns for automation, integration, and monitoring.
Pipeline Design & Delivery Automation
- Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, fast, and consistent application delivery.
- Integrate pipelines with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow for seamless change, release, and incident management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve pipeline performance and reliability through tooling, configuration, and process enhancements.
Cloud Infrastructure & IaC
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies are built into infrastructure designs.
- Support multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments with automation-first mindset.
Observability & System Health
- Define and implement observability frameworks (metrics, logging, tracing) to enable proactive monitoring and faster incident resolution.
- Guide SRE practices and establish standards for performance monitoring and alerting.
- Lead root cause analysis and drive long-term system reliability improvements.
Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)
- Embed security practices directly into pipelines and infrastructure workflows, including static/dynamic code scans, compliance checks, and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure DevOps aligns with regulatory requirements.
Optimization & Innovation
- Identify and implement improvements in process efficiency, resource utilization, and cloud cost optimization.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve development and operational workflows.
- Collaboration & Enablement
- Serve as a DevOps thought leader across development, operations, QA, and business teams.
- Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to DevOps engineers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Support solution sizing and DevOps planning for new projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and leading DevOps architectures in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- Expertise with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Experience integrating DevOps pipelines with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Understanding of DevOps for both custom applications and packaged platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
