Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6–12 Months (with potential extension)
Rate: $90/hour (W2 or C2C)

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Dallas, TX, for a hybrid contract role. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of IT experience and proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale AWS cloud environments. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and design AWS cloud solutions for enterprise-scale applications.
- Lead migration strategies from on-premise infrastructure to AWS.
- Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance best practices.
- Optimize AWS usage for cost efficiency and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership to development and operations teams.
- Evaluate and recommend AWS services, tools, and frameworks to meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and ensure high availability.
- Document architecture designs, processes, and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years as an AWS Architect.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, etc.).
- Experience with hybrid cloud architecture and multi-account AWS environments.
- Proficient in infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in networking, security, and compliance in the cloud.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
- Familiarity with serverless architectures.
- Background in financial, healthcare, or enterprise-level IT environments.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid – 2–3 days on-site per week in Dallas, TX.
