Job Overview:
We are actively seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Launch Darkly to support our client at LPL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and modern DevOps tools and practices. This role will focus on feature flag management (Launch Darkly), CI/CD automation, and cloud-based infrastructure support.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage feature flagging and experimentation using Launch Darkly.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines and automation solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, application environments, and deployment workflows.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions and participate in code reviews.
- Enforce best practices for CI/CD, configuration management, and cloud operations.
- Support and maintain existing DevOps processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Launch Darkly (feature flag management and rollout strategies).
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Solid understanding of DevOps tools and concepts (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience building and maintaining production pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in financial services or enterprise environments.
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
