About the Role
We’re seeking an Entry-Level DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn cloud infrastructure and automation practices while contributing to real-world projects.
You’ll work under the guidance of senior DevOps and engineering team members to support AWS service installation, CI/CD-based deployments, and environment setup for application testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing and configuring services on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Support deployments of code and applications using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Set up and manage test labs/environments for development and QA teams to validate code and applications.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations to ensure smooth release workflows.
- Learn and apply best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and automation.
What You’ll Learn
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
- How modern CI/CD pipelines work in production environments.
- Exposure to DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.).
- Real-world software delivery processes (from code to deployment to testing).
- Troubleshooting and performance optimization under mentor guidance.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Understanding of version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
- Strong willingness to learn AWS, CI/CD tools, and DevOps workflows.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to AWS Free Tier or hands-on labs.
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization basics.
- Understanding of software testing workflows.
- Interest in automation and cloud-native tools.
