Role Purpose
To lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment. This role ensures the reliable deployment and scalability of infrastructure systemsincluding cloud migrations, network upgrades, and cybersecuritywhile driving automation and operational efficiency. It involves close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives through effective monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement we entrust you with
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage project plans, scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for IT infrastructure initiatives.
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory Management & Deployment
- Oversee implementation of infrastructure projects, including server deployments, data center operations, cloud migrations, network upgrades, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Work with DevOps, SysOps, Business BU and IT support teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.
- Lead automation and efficiency improvements in IT infrastructure management.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with internal teams, business units, and executive leadership to align infrastructure projects with business goals.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring quality service and contract adherence.
- Coordinate procurement and budgeting for IT infrastructure investments.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project performance using key metrics and report progress to leadership.
- Utilize project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.) to document and manage workflows.
- Ensure post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Matters In This Role
Relevant work experience
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and cybersecurity.
- Experience with data center operations, disaster recovery, and IT service management (ITSM).
- Knowledge of DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc.) is a plus.
Project Management Skills
- Proven experience in IT project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and change management capabilities.
