Oncor is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to lead engineering, automation, support, and strategic initiatives across cloud platforms. This role will be key in modernizing applications, executing cloud migrations, and driving innovation in cloud-native architecture.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate technical excellence, strong collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud)
- 5+ years of experience with GitLab
- Hands-on experience with containerized applications & microservices architectures
- Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible
- Strong knowledge of networking topics (protocols, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes
- Experience with SSL certificates
- Prior work in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of container & pod-level monitoring and logging (Dynatrace, QRadar)
