Senior Platform/SRE/DevOps Engineer
A rapidly scaling technology startup is seeking a talented Senior Platform/SRE/DevOps Engineer to join our innovative infrastructure team. We are at the forefront of building robust, scalable cloud infrastructure that powers cutting-edge AI automation platforms.
We are looking for an exceptional platform engineer who can design, develop, and implement resilient, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS
• Architect and maintain scalable, secure DevOps pipelines
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions
• Implement and manage CI/CD workflows
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems
• Manage cloud security, compliance (SOC2), and monitoring strategies
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize system performance
• Implement and maintain observability and incident response protocols
• Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure and deployment processes
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Platform Engineering/SRE/DevOps experience
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Advanced Kubernetes and containerization expertise
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Proven track record of building resilient, scalable infrastructure
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Strong security and compliance background
Technical Skills: AWS - Kubernetes - Docker - Terraform - Python - Bash - CI/CD - Monitoring Tools - Prometheus - Grafana - CloudWatch - ELK Stack
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure
• Background in highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with advanced security frameworks
• Expertise in event-driven architectures
• SOC2 compliance implementation experience
Location: Hybrid - Seaport - 2 days per week in-office - Flexible remote work options
Compensation: - Base Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 - Meaningful equity package - Comprehensive benefits
