Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Automating infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC).
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Embedding governance, security, and compliance into cloud solutions.
- Partnering with development teams to create cloud-native applications.
- Monitoring and optimising infrastructure for performance and cost.
- Researching and integrating new AWS services and third-party tools.
- Producing clear documentation for standards and operations.
Main Skills Needed:
- 5+ years’ experience building and managing AWS-based infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate) desirable.
