Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a proven background in managing cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and system reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with modern DevOps tools and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Manage infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
Work closely with development and QA teams to automate and optimize processes.
Monitor production systems, ensure uptime, and perform root cause analysis of incidents.
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Manage cloud infrastructure across multiple environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization of infrastructure.
Develop scripts for automation and system management using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Participate in on-call rotation and support release management activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
13+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8+ years in DevOps/SRE roles.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions).
Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
Deep understanding of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
Knowledge of networking, load balancers, and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
Familiarity with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux).
Prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
Relevant certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure DevOps Expert, or CKA/CKAD.
