Principal DevOps Engineer
Full-time | $1700,000 + 7% Bonus | Remote US (East and Central Time Zones)
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to take the lead in scaling and optimizing modern infrastructure across cloud and on-premise (Co-Lo) environments. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
You’ll design and manage CI/CD pipelines, drive automation across build and release processes, and guide development teams in adopting DevOps best practices. The role involves supporting hybrid environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as physical infrastructure within Co-Lo data centers. You’ll also mentor junior engineers, implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and ensure robust, secure deployments at scale.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering
- Strong background in Software Engineering
- Proven experience with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Co-Lo environments
- Strong automation skills using Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
