The Opportunity
We’re looking for a DevOps Intern who is eager to learn and grow in the world of cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices. This internship is a hands-on learning opportunity where you’ll work closely with experienced engineers to support and improve our cloud and deployment environments.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring cloud infrastructure (Azure primarily; exposure to AWS/GCP is a plus).
- Support CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications.
- Help manage containerized applications using Docker and gain exposure to Kubernetes.
- Assist in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or similar.
- Support monitoring and logging setups using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
- Learn and follow DevOps and cloud security best practices.
- Document processes, configurations, and learnings clearly.
You’re a Fit If You Have
- Completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud concepts.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Introductory knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) through coursework or projects.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Strong willingness to learn, experiment, and take feedback.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points
- Exposure to Kubernetes concepts through projects or labs.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Interest in cloud security, monitoring, or reliability engineering.
