TDI is seeking a motivated Journeyman Systems Deployment Specialist with 3–5 years of experience in enterprise systems integration and deployment. The ideal candidate will support the implementation and lifecycle management of cloud hosted tools across a large, distributed environment. This role focuses on ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient deployment of mission-critical applications while adhering to federal cybersecurity standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Deploy and configure COTS platforms in accordance with organizational architecture and security requirements
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure DISA STIG compliance and remediate findings during deployment
- Assist in updating and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and other configuration settings to align with security baselines
- Support patching and update cycles for deployed platforms, ensuring timely remediation of vulnerabilities
- Document deployment processes, configuration changes, and compliance artifacts for audits and reporting
- Participate in POAM tracking and remediation efforts, coordinating with stakeholders to close gaps and maintain compliance posture
- Provide technical troubleshooting for deployment issues and escalate complex problems as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment workflows, automation scripts, and security hardening practices
QUALIFICATIONS:- 3–5 years of experience in enterprise IT systems deployment or administration
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and GPO management
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs, NIST frameworks, and federal compliance requirements
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell preferred) for automation and configuration tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in structured, compliance-driven environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience deploying COTS platforms in DoD or federal environments
- Knowledge of patch management tools (e.g., SCCM/MECM, WSUS) and vulnerability remediation processes
- Exposure to RBAC, identity management, and secure configuration practices
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL-based workflows
