AWS DevOps Engineer (1–2 Years Experience)

About the Role
AaraTech Inc is seeking a motivated and hands-on AWS DevOps Engineer (1–2 years experience) to support the design, automation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who want practical experience working with AWS services, DevOps tools, and modern cloud-native architectures. The AWS DevOps Engineer will collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using CloudWatch and logging tools
- Assist with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Collaborate with development teams to support build, release, and deployment processes
- Implement and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda
- Support configuration management and automation using tools like Ansible or Bash scripting
- Assist with security best practices including IAM policies, secrets management, and least privilege access
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution in cloud environments
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and operational procedures
- Assist with cost monitoring, optimization, and resource usage analysis
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
- Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Exposure to Docker and container-based deployments
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
