Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical software used by defense, government, and communications customers. Their solutions help teams manage infrastructure efficiently with minimal training and customization.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will build, operate, and improve systems that enable faster, more reliable software delivery. The DevOps Engineer will drive automation, DevOps best practices, and serve as a subject matter expert in containerized deployments, networking, and enterprise infrastructure to support stable, secure environments.

Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating work tracking, testing, artifact repositories, and build systems
- Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure, applications, and tooling using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and operate infrastructure and services supporting CI/CD, testing, security, artifact management, and network or device simulation
- Identify and implement process and tooling improvements to increase automation, code quality, security, and developer efficiency
- Automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual processes to improve developer productivity
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to engineers on DevOps tools and best practices
- Collaborate with security, engineering, and operations teams to support shared requirements and maintain critical systems
- Enable self-service DevOps capabilities for product and engineering teams to improve feedback loops
- Build and enforce automation around coding, testing, and security standards
- Research, evaluate, and educate teams on emerging DevOps tools, trends, and practices
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption across the organization
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or DevOps (preferred)
- Experience designing and supporting on-prem, hybrid, and cross-cloud environments (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with containerized infrastructure such as Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps toolchains
- Willingness to work with development tools and languages including Golang, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Scala
- Strong Linux system administration and networking skills
- Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver with a desire to learn and improve
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to work on-site in the Atlanta office and support hardware as needed
- US citizenship required to access secure system

This role offers a competitive salary of $90,000–$120,000, with the potential for an annual performance-based bonus.
