This opportunity is ideal for an experienced
GCP Cloud Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and driving cloud transformation initiatives. In this role, you will play a key part in a large-scale cloud migration effort, helping modernize physician-facing applications while shaping cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps practices. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to influence cloud strategy, tooling, and long-term platform evolution.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform to support modern application workloads
- Lead and support the migration of legacy and on-premise applications into GCP using best-practice cloud design patterns
- Implement infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to streamline development, deployment, and monitoring processes
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, availability, and cost efficiency, proactively resolving issues and optimizing usage
- Collaborate with engineering, application, and service delivery teams to align cloud infrastructure with application and business needs
Here’s What Our Ideal Candidate Has
- 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (experience with AWS or Azure is a plus)
- Strong background in cloud administration, application migration, and infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE)
- Proficiency in at least two programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript, Java, Go, or similar)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security controls, database services, and well-architected cloud principles
